The Examination

The Closer Score.

The profession’s standardized measure of remote sales ability.

What the LSAT is to law and the SAT is to admissions, the Closer Score is to remote sales: the standardized, administered, integrity-protected examination the field measures ability by — administered by the Institute in scheduled sittings, reported on a 0–1000 scale across six competency dimensions.

The Scale

One number, six dimensions, zero ambiguity.

A rated sitting returns your Closer Score — 0–1000 — and the six-dimension breakdown beneath it. The number travels; the breakdown tells you, and any employer, exactly where the number comes from.

Discovery
Surfacing the prospect’s real situation, pain, and desire.
Qualification
Determining fit, urgency, authority, and ability to buy.
Active Listening
Responding to what was actually said — not a script.
Objection Handling
Navigating resistance, price pressure, and stalls in real time.
Closing
Asking, anchoring, and converting decisions.
Communication & Tonality
Pacing, presence, natural timing, and vocal command.

The Sitting

Three formats. One number.

01

Knowledge Sections

Multiple-choice examination of the professional foundation: the call model, qualification logic, offer mechanics.

02

Written Responses

Rubric-graded scenario work: what do you say next, and why — graded against the standard, not a key.

03

Live Simulation

The heart of the examination: real-time spoken sales conversation with a human-sounding prospect, graded on response quality, tonality, and natural timing.

Integrity

Designed so the number means something.

01

Rotating Scenarios

Examination personas, scenarios, and prompts rotate across sittings. There is no question bank to memorize, because there is no bank.

02

One Attempt per Sitting

The examination cannot be ground into free education. Attempt history is part of the record.

03

Scores, Not Coaching

A rated sitting returns the number and the six-dimension breakdown — nothing else. All feedback, film, and training live inside the Program.

04

Un-cheatable by AI

The examination’s core is live spoken performance in real time. No chatbot can hold tonality and timing on a live call for you.

The Ladder

A score is a snapshot. Certification is the standard.

A high Closer Score alone does not make you a Certified Remote Closer — the way a high LSAT does not make you a lawyer. Certification is the full battery: the complete examination-simulation series across multiple personas, full-cycle calls, sustained performance across dozens of evaluated simulations, and a portfolio of recorded work. Certification percentiles are quoted against certified closers only — a separate and harder population than exam-takers — so the designation always outranks the number.

Sit the examination, see your gap, and the Program is the bridge across it.
